Day 01

AIRPORT / NEGOMBO

  • On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and escorted to Negombo (Approx. 30 mins drive). On arrival in the hotel, spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities.
  • Spend overnight at the Hotel. Accommodation will be rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 02

NEGOMBO / SIGIRIYA

  • After Breakfast, we will be driving to Sigiriya (approx. 4 hours drive) and visit Dambulla Cave temple.
  • On completion, we will be continue our driving to Sigiriya. Check in to Hotel and spend the rest of the day leisurly.
  • In the evening, you will be able to enjoy a Candle lit dinner with bottle of wine.
  • Spend overnight at the Hotel. Accommodation will be rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 03

SIGIRIYA

  • After breakfast, we will be driving to sigiriya to visit Sigiriya rock fortress.
  • In the afternoon, you can experience an Elephant Safari in Sigiriya.
  • Spend overnight at the Hotel. Accommodation will be rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 04

SIGIRIYA / KANDY

  • After breakfast, we will be driving to Kandy (Approx. 4 hrs & 30 mins drive) and you can visit Spice garden in Mathele.
  • On arrival in Kandy, you will enjoy a city tour including Kandy Temple, upper lake drive, gem lapidary, wood carving center and Cultural show.
  • Kandy – the hill capital is another “World Heritage Site”. It was the last stronghold of the Sinhalese Kings during the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule and finally ceded to the British in 1815 after an agreement. To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the “Dalada Maligawa” – Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Today it is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts, Dancing, Music and Culture. Visitors can see these Dance & Music at the daily Cultural Performances held at several places in the city.
  • After the city tour, you will be able to check in to the hotel. In the evening, you will enjoy a Candle lit Dinner at the hotel.

Day 05

KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA

  • Today after breakfast, you will spend the morning leisurly.
  • 11:30hrs- You will proceed to Peradeniya Railway Station for a scenic train journey to Nanu oya Railway station on Expo rail. Train leaves Peradeniya at 12:30hrs and reaches Nanu Oya Railway station at 16:55hrs. This train journey is the most scenic train journey in Sri Lanka. Upon arrival at Nanu Oya railway station, you will be picked up from Nanu Oya railway station and escorted to Nuwara Eliya. (The entire journey time will be approximately 4 hours).
  • Surrounded by hills and tea plantations, the town of Nuwara Eliya enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. A favourite retreat of the British during colonial times, the town is dotted with English country style houses and half-timbered bungalows, Hotels. No surprise it’s earned the name “Little England.
  • Spend overnight at the Hotel. Accommodation will be rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 06

NUWARA ELIYA

  • After breakfast, you will be visit tea plantation & tea factory.
  • TEA PLANTATIONS – Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839. In 1867, a Scottish Planter named James Taylor planted tea seedlings in 8 hectares of forestland, in the Loolkondura Estate. In 1873, the tea export industry of Sri Lanka began with a modest 23 lbs. being shipped to London. Tea will grow only on rolling terrain and is classified by elevation into low grown, medium grown and high grown into 3 main groups. Today more than 200,000 hectares in highlands and other areas are under Tea and around 300 million Kilograms.
  • In the afternoon, you can do a city tour in Nuwara Eliya. Enjoy a special Candle lit dinner at the hotel.

Day 07

NUWARA ELIYA/ BENTOTA

  • After breakfast, we will be driving to Bentota and route visit St. Claire and Devon waterfalls.
  • Spend overnight at the Hotel. Accommodation will be rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 08

BENTOTA

  • Spend the full day leisurly. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a special candle lit dinner at the hotel with a bottle of wine.

Day 09

BENTOTA

  • Spend the full day leisurly.
